What does a typical worship service look like?
Sabbath worship is comprised of announcements, a childrens story, praise music, congregational prayer, moments of sharing and preaching. You can find the archive of past sermons here. A typical service might look like this:
| Welcome | Words of welcome and special announcements offered by the Worship Associate |
| Moments of Sharing | Reflective words from a variety of sources (members, leaders, guests) |
| Childrens Story | Special time for the little ones to come to the front and hear a story about God |
| Praise Music | Music from the Praise Group or a special performance |
| Offering | Our time to give back to God |
| Special Music | More music from a special guest, member, group or choir |
| Sermon | Words from our minister or special guest |
| Closing Prayer | Request for guidance and protection |
What is "Congregational Prayer?"
Congregational prayer is a time in our worship service where we as a body of believers pray with one another together in groups, individually pray in silence and meditation, or come to the front of the service for prayer. We believe when we pray that God hears our prayers as a Church, and in His time He will answer our prayers. Congregational prayer is the highlight of our worship service together as hearts are broken and lives are mended.
topWhat is the prayer meeting service on Wednesdays?
We are studying the book of Revelation on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm. We believe that prophecy is happening right before our eyes and that in the last days we must have a better understanding of the book of Revelation.
topWhat happens after church?
After our worship service each Sabbath, we invite you to join us for fellowship and refreshments in our fellowship hall. For more information about the church, we have a visitor's table, an informational bulletin board, and more literature about Seventh- day Adventist in our literature rack.
topHow do I find the church?
We are located 4700 East Rancier Avenue in Killeen, Texas 76543. Directions to our church can be found here.
topWhat do adults wear?
You are welcome to wear whatever you are comfortable in. Members often describe the dress code as "business casual," but some people wear jeans or slacks. We invite you to come as just as you are, and we would love to worship with you.
topWhat do children wear?
Children should wear comfortable clothes. They may spend time playing on the carpeted floor during Sabbath School, or work with art supplies.
topMay our child stay with us during the service?
Yes, there are activity packets available for children who wish to stay with their parents during worship. We even have a special church bulletin designed just for children.
topDo I have to check in at the visitor's table?
Our Visitor's Table is staffed by a member and is designed to help you feel welcome on your first visit to our church. We offer an information packet, including information on membership and copies of newsletters. While we would love for you to visit the table, we respect that you may prefer to attend our service in private.
topDo you have services for the hearing impaired?

topWill I be welcome?
Yes. We welcome all no matter what race, religion, creed, color, capability, or type of person you are.
topWill I be pressured to join or to be saved?
No. We will welcome you and invite you to learn more about our faith at the national website.
topHow do I become a member?
Please meet with a member at our visitor's table. They will give you information on joining our church and any classes that we suggest you take before joining.
topSenior Pastor
Pastor Vitali Prolinski was born in Gorlovka, Ukraine, which at the time was a republic of the Soviet Union. As a child he moved around quite often, due to his father being a pastor, but spent many years in Kiev, the capitol of Ukraine. After high school, Pastor Prolinski interpreted for evangelists and preachers visiting his home church. Through the contacts he made serving as interpreter, he had the opportunity to visit Canada and study at a missionary college. He earned and received two certificates and taught for two years in Canada. Pastor Prolinski continued his education at Southwestern Adventist University and after graduating was hired by the Texas Conference as an Associate Pastor. After serving as an Associate Pastor for several years, he attended Andrews University Theological Seminary where Pastor Prolinski obtained a Masters degree.
Becoming a pastor was a life long journey for Vitali Prolinski. Loving and serving the Lord was instilled and learned at a young age, coming from a family of pastors. His brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather are all pastors. Growing up surrounded by the love and understanding of God’s gifts, Pastor Prolinski has learned to discern the hand of God acting in his life. He recognizes and acknowledges his past experiences leading him toward the ministry.
Pastor Prolinski will be joined by his wife, Karina. Karina was born in Houston, Texas, the youngest of three children. At the age of 17 Karina left home for Waco to attend Baylor University and earned a Bachelors in Psychology and French. She worked several years in Houston as a caseworker for the mental health/mental retardation authority. Karina then moved on to become a rehabilitation counselor with the Division for Rehabilitation Services and has been with them for the past 6 years and is serving in a management position. Since graduating from Baylor, Karina has also obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
Pastor and Mrs. Prolinski truly believe they have been guided by the Lord to Killeen Seventh-day Adventist Church and are looking forward to embarking on our mutual journey towards the Kingdom of God.
